“Body Positivity” has been a popular buzzword we hear in contrast to diet culture buzzwords.

However, there is a lot of misunderstandings about what body positivity and health mean. To help show how intersectional body positivity is, our team at Wingspan Health put together a list of our favorite body-acceptance TikTok creators.

Here are Body Positivity TikTok Accounts to Follow:

Stephen Ludwig, who goes by the nickname “Stevo Luddy,” is a TikTok creator who was born with Maffuci’s disease, a condition with abnormal bone growth.

Specifically, the body parts on his lefthand side are shorter than those on the right.

From playing basketball to doing a trending dance routine to showing a day in the life to flashing his sense of style with his “boot,” Stevo Luddy creates content to raise awareness about his experience.

Andy the Dietitian is a TikTok creator who has always loved food!

She tried every diet under the sun and often had a love/hate relationship with food before becoming a Registered Dietitian.

From debunking diet and nutrition myths to sharing recipes that are too good not to share, Andy the Dietitian creates content to show that not all Registered Dietitians are obsessed with calorie-counting.

Chloe Xandria is a TikTok creator who went viral last month for a video where she documented the changes in her figure since the beginning of 2020.

Having previously struggled with an eating disorder, she chose to appreciate her body during quarantining the global pandemic.

Chloe creates content to normalize normal bodies by sharing her experience and body-positive affirmations.

Dexter Mayfield is a TikTok creator who is a queer, plus-size male model known for his walk.

Being a plus-size man in the fashion industry is ground-breaking given that women come to mind when we think of plus-size models.

Dexter creates content to be the plus-size size body image hero through dance and, of course, his walk.

Bekah Cloud is a TikTok creator who is a yogi and aerialist with scoliosis, a condition where the spine curves sideways.

By speaking the universal language of the platform (dance!), Bekah creates content to normalize bodies with scoliosis and show what it means to accept and love your body.
