What is the Medications feature in Wingspan Health?
The Medications feature in Wingspan Health lets you see when and what medicine your doctor prescribed you. You can also add any other over-the-counter medicine you are currently taking.
How does the Medications feature in Wingspan Health work?
After adding patient portals in your Wingspan account from your healthcare providers, Wingspan pulls all of your medical information from your health records related to medications and summarizes it neatly in Medications feature.

Now, we’ll break down how each section of the Medications feature works.
Active Medications
In this section, you can see all of the medications you’re currently taking, the instructions for them, and when it was recorded that you first started taking them. Also, include any notes like your reactions to a certain medication by clicking the Add a note link.
How to Take Off a Medication from Active Medications:
Click the Not taking link and Wingspan will move your medication down to your Medication History, all you need to do is enter in the date you stop taking that medication.
How to Add a Medication:
If you don’t see medicine that you’re taking now or are taking over-the-counter medicine, you can always add them. Click the + Add Medication link and fill out the medication name, any specific instructions (i.e. how much of this medication do you take? how often? etc.), when you started taking it, and any notes about the medication like side effects that you’ve experienced.
Medication History
In this section, you can see all of the medications you’ve taken in the past from your medical records including details like the instructions (amount and how often), when you started taking them, and when you stopped taking them. Also, include any notes like your reactions to a certain medication by clicking the Add a note link.
How to Move a Medication from Medication History to Active Medications:
Click the Still taking link and Wingspan will move your medication up to your Active Medications, all you need to do is confirm that you want to do that.
How to Add a Medication:
If you don’t see medicine that you use to take, you can always add them. Click the + Add Medication link and fill out the medication name, any specific instructions (i.e. how much of this medication do you take? how often? etc.), when you started taking it, when you stopped taking it, and any notes about the medication like side effects that you’ve experienced.
